Dr. Eric Zolov (Associate Professor of History and Director of Latin American and Caribbean Studies) shared research from his forthcoming book, The Last Good Neighbor: Mexico in the Global Sixties (Duke University Press) as part of the Libraries’ programming in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. His talk on the symbolism and politicization of the dove of peace during the Cold War inspired a rich discussion among faculty and graduate students.
