Caring for the Libraries’ collections — analog and digital
The Preservation Services Department at Melville Library oversees and manages documents and data content and advises and collaborates with the Library’s administration and the University’s scholarly community of faculty, staff and students. In support of Stony Brook University’s missions of education, research, regional leadership and community service, the Department provides for the care and treatment, standards and preservation of all library assets, both analog and digital.
