On February 16th the University Libraries hosted the second event in this semester’s Colloquium Series. Two library faculty members presented their current work.
Victoria Pilato, Digital Projects Librarian, discussed her recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya as part of a project to digitize the Leakey family papers. Her talk provided important insights into the challenges and opportunities of global library projects.
Jamie Saragossi, Collection Development & Outreach Librarian for the Health Sciences Library, presented her experiences implementing a 3D printing program in a health sciences library. The presentation emphasized the opportunities for collaboration with other campus entities inherent in this kind initiative.
Please join us next month for the next Colloquium Series event, and learn more about the research, initiatives, and professional development activities of the University Libraries’ faculty and staff.
