The Stony Brook Health Sciences Library is partnering with the Renaissance School of Medicine Offices of Faculty Affairs and Undergraduate Medicine to offer the workshop, “Empowering Learners: Integrating Preclinical Knowledge, PICO, and AI in Clinical Practice.”
This session will take place via Zoom on May 6th from 12-1pm. It will equip faculty and learners to combine foundational knowledge, structured inquiry, and emerging technologies—including AI—to support efficient, evidence-based practice. It also explores self-directed learning in medical education, guiding participants to formulate focused questions (PICO) and develop Critically Appraised Topics using a structured methodology. Attendees are eligible to receive 1 CME.
Please see the flyer below for additional information, including a QR code to scan for the Zoom link.
