Exhibition Opening Celebrates President Andrea Goldsmith

On April 13, as part of the inauguration activities for Stony Brook University’s seventh president Andrea Goldsmith, Stony Brook University hosted in the Wang Center the opening reception of a special exhibition highlighting her career, leadership, and vision for the future of the institution.

This long-term installation, curated by Jinyoung Jin (Director of Asian Art and Culture at Charles B. Wang Center) and Kristen Nyitray (Director of Special Collections and University Archives, SBU Libraries), explores President Goldsmith’s journey as a pioneering engineer, researcher, educator, and academic leader, and how her experiences shape the university’s next chapter.
