Bridging Knowledge and Creativity: Two Inspiring Art Installations at the Melville Library

The University Libraries is proud to partner with the Campus Beautification Committee to display artwork created by Stony Brook University students.  Two dramatic pieces have been installed in the North Reading Room. “Water Droplet” by artist Sy Lee is visible upon entering the North Reading Room; “Nailed It” by artist Akash Lachman is on display on the second floor, at the top of the stairway. Both pieces beautifully demonstrate the creativity of the Stony Brook University student body and bring a spark of inspiration to the space. Please take a moment to view both pieces while you are visiting the University Libraries.
You can read more about the installations and the Campus Beautification Committee in the Stony Brook University News.
