Stony Brook Libraries hosted the Ready for Success Summit on Friday, March 15th with over 100 librarians, teachers, and administrators from across 40 Long Island school districts. Attendees assembled to hear about the Ready for Success project between SBU Libraries and Brentwood High School and to discuss strategies for improving the research skills of high school students.
Dr. Brenda Boyer of the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information delivered the keynote on “Empowering Minds & Bridging Gaps: The Crucial Role of Information Literacy in High School.”
For a full recap of the Ready for Success Summit and for more information on the project, see the Ready for Success website.
This project is supported by a generous grant from the William E. & Maude S. Pritchard Charitable Trust.
