Thank you to all that came out to meet Dan’s Papers founder and Hamptons-based author Dan Rattiner on Friday, October 27 at the Southampton Library at Stony Brook Southampton. Members of the local community, SBU and SBU Libraries faculty and staff, and Dan’s Paper’s staff came together to celebrate the donation of the Dan’s Paper’s archive to SBU Libraries and to raise funds to support the digitization of the archive.
In 2008, Special Collections of SBU Libraries acquired many of Mr. Rattiner’s drawings, diaries, papers and letters as part of its “Dan Rattiner Collection.” The University Libraries received the archive of Dan’s Papers in 2023, and is now in the process of digitizing the publication’s full run dating back seven decades.

Thank you to the Golden Pear for providing the event catering.
