SUNY Distinguished Librarian and Director of Global Library Initiatives Michael Bailou Huang presented a panel titled “AI-Generated Content and Its Potential Impact on Libraries” at 2023 Chinese Library Annual Conference held in Zhengzhou, China, September 14-16, 2023. During his trip in China, Michael visited Anhui University Library and Stony Brook Institute at Anhui University (SBIAHU). SBIAHU is recognized as the first U.S.-China institute in Anhui Province, China. The first cohort of students enrolled in SBIAHU recently arrived for their first semester at Stony Brook. Michael held talks with Dr. Chu Jiewang, Director of Anhui University Library, and Dr. Wu Ranchao, Associate Dean of SBIAHU about library collaboration. The Stony Brook University Libraries are committed to providing library services to students, faculty, and staff at SBIAHU and other international sites.
