Five members of University Libraries attended the Chinese American Librarians Association’s (CALA) Northeast Chapter’s Spring conference, themed: “Chinese Librarianship in the Post-Pandemic Future: Personal Growth and Professional Development” in April 2023.
Michael Huang, SUNY Distinguished Librarian and Director of Global Library Initiatives presented with Visiting Scholar, Yuanming Song, from Fudan University Medical Library and Yulin Xiong, Visiting Scholar from Kunming Medical University Library on the topic of “Information consulting and special collections services at two academic libraries in China.”
Sunny Chung, Health Sciences Librarian presented on a panel: “ChatGPT and the future of library services.”
