SBU Libraries has recently installed a display of scholarly works, memoirs, and essay collections that discuss the Holocaust to commemorate Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. These books are on display by the spiral staircase in the North Reading Room. All of them can be checked out and you can find more material in our Main Stacks.
In addition, the Stony Brook Jewish Community is holding a series of events from 4/17 to 4/19 to honor the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust as well as Roma, Poles, LGBTQ*, and other minorities. These events include a display outside the SAC Plaza, a candle ceremony, and a Holocaust Survivor Guest Speaker
