Borrowing privileges at the Stony Brook University Libraries may be extended to patrons who are not enrolled or employed at Stony Brook University. Known as “courtesy borrowers,” these patrons may be research assistants, visiting scholars, members of affiliated organizations such as the Brookhaven National Laboratory, or community members.
In order to increase their access to our print collection, courtesy borrowers may now take out up to 25 books at a time. The loan period has been extended to 60 days, with one 30 day renewal.
Find more information on the Privileges page or contact Access & User Services at circulation@stonybrook.edu
