Chancellor’s Award Celebration – Jessica Koos receives medal for Excellence in Librarianship

On November 9th, President McInnis awarded Jessica Koos with her medal and certificate for the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Librarianship. Jessica has been a Health Sciences Librarian at Stony Brook since 2017 and has contributed to the research, teaching, and learning in the Health Sciences and in our community since that time. Jessica has been the recipient and integral team member of multiple grants to help promote the use of reliable health information in our surrounding communities. She has been the liaison to the School of Medicine since 2018 where she has imparted life-long research and evidence-based practice skills on countless students.

The University Libraries are very proud of Jessica’s accomplishments and this well-deserved award.
