Please join us next Wednesday, February 23rd, at 10a for a workshop on Conducting Research About and Working with Contemporary Indigenous Artists!
This workshop will explore and develop research skills in Indigenous Studies, Studio Art, Art History, and Performance Studies. Drawing on contemporary practicing Indigenous artists, this workshop will articulate methodological and theoretical approaches to researching Indigenous material culture and performance. Attendees will also be introduced to a variety of web resources useful for learning about and researching contemporary Indigenous art in North America.
