Stony Brook Health Sciences Librarian, Gregg Stevens, and co-authors Elizabeth Hinton University of Mississippi Medical Center and Roy Brown of Virginia Commonwealth University received an honorable mention for research presented at the 2019 Medical Library Association Conference. Their presentation; Elevating Nursing Librarianship: Assessing Trends in Distance Librarian Services for Advanced Practice Nursing Programs was awarded an honorable mention by the Research Section of MLA. Their presentation stood out among the 103 papers presented this year!
