That time of year is here again, when students have to look to next semester’s schedule, unsure if they’re going to make it through the present one!
Stony Brook University has introduced Schedule Builder, which allows students to enter their desired classes by searching for a course, instructor or SBC and DEC requirement. The program also allows students to enter times when they are unable to attend class to produce a schedule that works best for them.
Schedule builder can be accessed through Stony Brook students’ SOLAR accounts, under “Student Records and Registration” then “Enrollment.” When the perfect schedule has been generated, click the red “Send to Shopping Cart” button at the top left of your screen. Return to SOLAR to “Import Cart,” which can be found under “Enrollment: Add Classes.”
Winter and spring class schedules are now available on SOLAR, in addition to students’ enrollment appointment times, which can be found under “Student Records and Registration” then “Enrollment” then “Enrollment Dates.”
Winter and Spring enrollment appointments begin on October 30.
