Join us Tuesday, October 10th for the final Art in Focus lecture of the fall at Southampton.
Katy Siegel, the Eugene V. and Clare E. Thaw Endowed Chair in Modern American Art, Stony Brook University will be speaking about her experience at this year’s Venice Biennale.
Siegel is the U.S. Pavilion’s co-curator at the Biennale with Christopher Bedford and the senior curator for research at the Baltimore Museum of Art. She will discuss Mark Bradford’s site-specific installation for the U.S. Pavilion, which will be on view through November 26.
The event starts at 7 pm and we hope you can join us.
The University Libraries’ Art in Focus Southampton events are co-sponsored by the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center and made possible by support from the John H. Marburger III Fund of Stony Brook University. These events are part of the Libraries’ continuing mission to engage in scholarly, cultural, and artistic interactions with Stony Brook University and the community. Stay tuned for other events in the Art in Focus lecture series throughout the year.
