Artemis Primary Sources is a search engine that combines 3 different primary source databases from GALE. The purpose of this platform is to make it easier for students to research firsthand documents and information from reputable sources. They are working to build the largest database of primary sources in the country. For those who don’t know what primary sources are, they are any information such as: documents, letters, texts, audio, video etc, that come firsthand from someone who lived through or experienced an event or piece of work. Primary sources are a direct window into what has happened and give the most accurate accounting of; data, historical events, or works or art and literature.
This database will be helpful for any student in need of direct sources for any projects or papers.
