Join us this afternoon from 3pm-5pm for the Stony Brook University Art Crawl, which will have stops at the North Reading Room and Special Collections. This event is free and open to the public. View the full schedule.
Special Collections will be showing “Revolutionary Long Island: Early Manuscripts, Maps, and Art;” collections that document the history of Long Island from the earliest settlers through the present, with a strong emphasis on the period of the American Revolution through the War of 1812 (1764-1812).
The student art exhibit, “Boisterous: Fine Arts Organization Student Exhibition” will be showing in the North Reading Room. We will also be celebrating the student artists with light refreshments.
