Dear All,
Couple of days ago, a horrific massacre took place in Florida, where dozens of innocent people died.
Such act of violence, is a reminder that regardless of race, religion, faith or sexual orientation, we all citizens of humanity and we need to be looking after each other and protecting each other in the face of this kind of terrible acts.
We all must support each other and we must support our students. We must remain committed to the kindness and community that are the hallmarks of civilization. Let us start by making our University Libraries and the Stony Brook community stronger, more diverse and more inclusive.
Be well,
Constantia
