The “Get Your READ On” project started as an outreach campaign to help improve awareness and interactions of the libraries on campus. The project started as a partnership with staff in Seawolves Athletics and University Communications to plan a new “Get Your READ On” campaign, capitalizing on the existing Athletics slogan “Get Your RED On.” The goal is to improve the outreach of library collections and services, while at the same time encouraging the campus community to provide us feedback on new initiatives and activities taking place around campus.
Photos here were part of a series of posters, comparable to the American Library Associations “READ” campaign, which public libraries highlight during National Library Week in April. These pictures include willing high profile students and administrators who are avid readers, successful students, and supporters of the University Libraries.
