The Staller Center will soon be hosting the 17th Annual Stony Brook Film Festival, July 19-28, 2012.
This July, the Staller Center for the Arts will be carrying on an annual tradition as they host the Stony Brook Film Festival for the 17th consecutive year. Independent, art, and foreign films created by a diverse array of directors from around the world have been carefully screened and selected for the event. Renowned actors and film makers will attend the festival for its duration, and will be present to answer questions after screenings, as well as during the Opening and Closing Night Receptions. Tickets are currently on sale, with an all film pass being offered at a mere $80. Gold Passes are also available for those wishing to gain access to reserved seating, as well as entry to the Opening and Closing Night Receptions.
More information on the festival details and calendar can be found on the official website, as well as on the Library’s Film Studies Subject Guide. Show your support for the arts by purchasing your film passes or individual screening tickets today.
A display highlighting the event will also soon be ready to view in the Main Library’s Central Reading Room.
