Title of Presentation: “Creating the Fourth Chapter of Human Genomics.”
The Antonija Prelec Memorial Fund was established in honor of Antonija (Toni) Prelec by her family, friends and colleagues at the Health Sciences Center (HSC) of Stony Brook University. The purpose of the fund is to continue Toni’s pursuit of excellence in medical librarianship and to improve the information services provided by the HSC Library. The Endowment provides grants for an annual visit and lecture by the Antonija Prelec Visiting Scholar.  This year’s visiting scholar is Dr. Eric Green, Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the NIH.  Dr. Green will deliver his lecture, “Creating the Fourth Chapter of Human Genomics” on Monday, October 3rd in Lecture Hall 1 at the Charles B. Wang Center.  The lecture is open to all.  The lecture will also be live streamed, to receive the link please register.
