Description
With those words, the charismatic artist John D. Graham invited Lee Krasner to participate in a 1942 exhibition. Graham also invited Jackson Pollock, a move that brought the two young painters together professionally and romantically. Alicia G. Longwell, the Chief Curator Emerita at The Parrish Art Museum, will examine Graham’s decisive influence on the burgeoning New York avant-garde.
The Art of Relationships is a series of Zoom talks in conjunction with the exhibition “Creative Exchanges: Artists in Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner’s Address Books.”
