On occasion of the publication of Le Siècle d’or espagnol (Paris: Citadelles & Mazenod, 2019) by Guillaume Kientz, recently appointed as new Director of the Hispanic Society of America in New York City, three Stony Brook faculty members will discuss this book’s innovative contribution to the field of Hispanic Studies, in Europe and beyond. This event will be an opportunity for discussion, instead of a more traditional book launch. At the same time, it will give Stony Brook faculty and students the possibility of tying new connections with the Hispanic Society of America, a world leading institution in the field.
Participants:
Sophie Leroy (IGS), moderator
