Reading and Understanding Peer-reviewed Journal Articles

Event Description

Are you required to read and cite peer-reviewed journal articles, but you aren’t exactly sure how to read them or engage with them? What can you learn from the literature review and methodology sections? How are articles from varying disciplines different from each other? Why is the list of references so important? Join librarian Christine Fena to learn about the structure and content of articles and other types of sources commonly published in peer-reviewed journals. The interactive workshop will include examples from all subject areas, including arts, humanities, social sciences, and STEM.
