Colloquium Series

Event Description

Stony Brook University Libraries is pleased to announce the next session in the Colloquium Series.  Please mark your calendars and come join the library faculty and staff as we share our current research, achievements, professional development activities and ideas for service to the Stony Brook community.  Presentations will begin at 1pm in the Special Collections Seminar Room on the 2nd floor of the Melville Library.  There will be light refreshments and time for discussion after the presentations.

Public access

This presentation will explain how NIH Public Access works, describe the preliminary efforts of other government funding agencies, elaborate issues and challenges this librarian has learned from coordinating NIH Public Access Compliance at the University of Florida, display Stony Brook University’s present compliance status, and distinguish public access from open access.
