As our nation, state, and campus observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 19, SBU Libraries invite you to explore our resources on Dr. King’s life and message. From biographies on Dr. King to full text scholarly articles on civil rights, the library is your gateway to reliable information. For primary accounts, library news databases such as New York Times Historical, LexisNexis Academic, and African American Newspapers give you direct access to contemporaneous reporting on the civil rights movement. To listen to Dr. King’s message in his own voice, the library offers audio and video resources as well.
