Information about course reserves for Fall 2020

Due to continuing concerns over Covid-19, the University Libraries will not be lending or checking out any physical items (books) for Course Reserves for the Fall 2020 semester.

We are offering to scan a limited number of book chapters to Blackboard if you require them for your class. Our usual limit is one chapter per title, but we will increase this to two or even three chapters, as long as the number of pages does not exceed 10% of the total work. This is due to copyright concerns. We cannot scan entire books.

If you wish to have a chapter or two scanned for E-Reserves and uploaded to Blackboard, you must submit an Electronic Reserve Request form.

You must also make us a Course Builder for your class on Blackboard.

Additionally, you may want to contact your library liaison to inquire whether the books you need are available as e-books, or if what you need can be found online. Please contact us, or your library liaison, if you have any questions.
