Dr. Pablo Calvi, Assistant Professor in the School of Journalism, presented research from his forthcoming book, Latin American Adventures in Literary Journalism. His discussion of nineteenth- and twentieth- century reading and publishing practices in the Americas provided important insights into the development of a journalistic conscience in Latin America. The talk was followed by a thoughtful conversation among the students, faculty, and staff in attendance.
