In this talk, Fernando Amador III, a PhD candidate in the History Department, will present digital humanities work completed during his Spring 2020 internship in the Center for Digital Humanities at Stony Brook University Libraries.
Headed by Dr. Lori Flores, Amador’s team created a digital history project on the history of Mexican food/restaurants in New York City from the 1930s to the present day. Amador will talk about how they gathered data and his specific role in creating the interactive maps. Website link
