Students of violin professor Jennifer Frautschi performed on Monday afternoon in the Library Galleria as part of the Art of the Violin series. The program included works for solo violin by Kevin Puts, Johann Sebastian Bach, and John Corigliano.
While many enjoyed the concert from the seats provided, additional listeners sat on the side of the galleria, encountered the concert from the sliding door entrance, or lined the 2nd floor balcony and central staircase.
Each virtuosic performance was met with rapt applause. Our thanks to Jennifer and her students, Melanie Riordan, Yigit Karatas and Sofiya Levchenko, for sharing their talents with us today.
