We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to the new Book Lounge located inside the SBU Libraries’ Southampton branch.
The new Book Lounge is a multi-faceted space designed to provide:
- A quiet zone for light discussion and reading.
- Better display space to highlight activity at the SBU Southampton Library and greater campus.
- A place to showcase our new and featured books where patrons can browse before borrowing.
- A comfortable area to sit, read, or unplug your mind.
- A catalyst for curiosity and to stimulate new ideas.
We couldn’t help but take to Twitter to celebrate the launch of our Book Lounge. We’ll let our tweets walk you through this new spot.
