On February 2, the Health Sciences Library welcomed a new Librarian to our team – Molly Higgins.
Molly was most recently a library fellow at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. Previously, she worked at the University of Washington Libraries for two years as a research tutorial specialist and Health Sciences Library assistant.Prior to becoming a health librarian, she worked in the intersections of technology, art, education, and Asian American Studies. She held internships at the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program in Washington, DC and the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian American Experience in Seattle, Washington; was part of the Association of Research Libraries’ Career Enhancement Fellowship; and taught information literacy and digital storytelling. Molly holds a Bachelors degree in Asian American Studies from UC Berkeley and an MLIS from the University of Washington.
