Research and Instructional Services, the fine folks answering your reference desk, chat, and email questions, would like to announce the spring 2015 graduate intern, Thomas Maxheimer. Thomas is a Library and Information Science graduate student at Long Island University, and he’s here to observe, help, and learn.
One of the most interesting and helpful tools he found on the library’s website are the subject guides that the librarians have assembled to help students get started on their research and assignments. The starting page for these guides can be found here.
There are guides for mobile research tools, first-year students, the film collections, library workshops, primary sources, research tutorials, and even recorded workshops that you can play back whenever you need them.
