Harvard Purdue Data Management Symposium

Dean of Libraries, Constantia Constantinou; Associate Director for Library Technology, Discovery and Digital Initiatives, Shafeek Fazal; and Scholarly Communication Librarian, Darren Chase, participated in the Harvard Purdue Data Management Symposium, June 16 – 17.  The Symposium featured speakers representing all stakeholders in the data creation/ management life cycle (researchers, administrators, librarians).  The Symposium sought to promote data awareness and integration of library services into the research cycle, and to demonstrate that data management is not simply about compliance but also about building relationships and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
