On March 16th, the University Libraries hosted the third event in this semester’s colloquium series, showcasing library faculty members’ research and professional development. Chris Kretz discussed his research on the history of commercial radio in the early 20th century, with an emphasis on the role of libraries and librarians in the development of this influential medium.
Michael B. Huang shared his experiences as coordinator of the Office of Global Library Initiatives at Stony Brook University, from its inception to his recent keynote addresses and presentations at two academic libraries in China.
