Gather Content is a publishing platform for non-traditional writing like website content, blog posts, help content, and product information. The platform brings the ethos of peer review to many other content types to help businesses ensure that the content they publish from every branch of their company is appropriate, legally sound, and on brand. The platform lets users set deadlines, create workflows, and manage templates so content creators can focus on creativity.
Gather Content is aimed at simplifying business content workflows, but it would be incredible if a product this slick trickled down into peer review workflows for academic journals. Features, particularly the shared project calendar and the realtime collaboration and commenting, would be a great addition to the online content managers that many journals are using today.
