New eBook Databases: ProQuest ebrary Academic Complete & University Press Collection

The Libraries have subscribed to ProQuest ebrary Academic Complete and University Press Collection.  These collections offer access to more than 740,000 full-text eBooks to support research and learning in the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and life sciences, as well as engineering, business, and education.  Researchers can download texts or use the online text reader with keyword search and note-taking capabilities.  All of the eBooks in these collections are accessible here, and will be searchable through STARS as well as the search box on the Libraries’ home page very soon.  Best of all, unlimited simultaneous access to eBooks means no waiting in line for the texts you need!  Questions?  Find useful information about eBooks here, or contact Kate Kasten, Head of Humanities and Social Sciences, at  Look for a workshop on using eBook functionalities for research, coming in February!
