Join us for “The Research Canvas: Filling in the Blanks with Art, Zines, and Queer Technique,” a 90-minute workshop, provided by Rena Newman, author, educator, illustrator, and publisher of the “The Testosterone Survey Zine.” Rena will teach participants how to create their own zine, review the history and significance of zines for the LGBTQ community, and discuss how zines fill vital gaps in archives. Don’t miss this inspiring session in SAC Ballroom B on September 26, from 3:30 to 5 pm. This event is the first of a four-part series in celebration of LGBT History Month.
