Please join us for this year’s Antonija Prelec Memorial Lecture, given by Visiting Scholar Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe. She will be presenting, “The History of the Future of Libraries: What Past Visions Reveal About Today’s Information Access Challenges and Opportunities.”
Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe is Professor and Coordinator for Research and Professional Development at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library and an affiliate faculty member in the School of Information Sciences. A nationally recognized leader in academic librarianship, she served as President of ACRL in 2010–2011, launching the Value of Academic Libraries Initiative, and has published and presented widely on information literacy, assessment, and organizational innovation. She currently chairs the ORCID Board and received the Society for Scholarly Publishing Distinguished Service Award in 2023.
