Description
In recognition of Veterans Day, please join us for an online discussion of the film Letters from Iwo Jima, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Ken Watanabe. Nominated for 4 Academy Awards, this World War II film is based on actual letters from Japanese forces to their families back home. Watch the movie at your convenience, then attend our discussion. The film is available free for the SBU community to stream. This event is being held in collaboration with The Office of Military and Veteran Student Services and Suffolk County Community College Libraries.
