Description
SBU Libraries provides an abundance of tools to support your art history research or studio art practice! At this workshop, attendees will discover print and digital tools that are helpful for discovering textual and visual resources in the arts. We will look at some of the most common subscription databases used by artists and art historians, consider how to find high-quality art information on the open web, and discuss how Stony Brook librarians can help when you get “stuck” on a research project. This workshop is open to all students, faculty, and staff. New art and art history students—or students considering a major/minor in the arts—are especially encouraged to attend.
