Two of the library’s important history databases, Historical Abstracts and America: History & Life, now have trial access to full-text upgrades through June 30, 2010.
Historical Abstracts with Full Text
Covers the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present, including world history, military history, women’s history, history of education, and much more. Selective indexing of historical articles from more than 1,800 journals in over 40 languages back to 1955.
Through June 30, 2010, it will also include full text of more than 300 journals and over 130 books.
America: History and Life with Full Text
Covers the history and culture of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to the present. Selective indexing for 1,700 journals from 1964 to present, including abstracts in English of articles published in more than 40 languages.
Through June 30, 2010, it will also include full-text coverage of nearly 200 journals and over 90 books.
