Health Sciences Librarians Present at MLA

Health Sciences Librarians Jamie Saragossi, Gregg Stevens, and Jessica Koos presented on various topics at the 2019 Medical Library Association’s Annual Meeting held from May 4th through May 8th.

Jamie presented a poster with former SBU librarian Dana Haugh, entitled, “Implementing a Digital Experience for the Physical Exhibit: Dental Instruments: Past and Present.”

Gregg presented a paper entitled, “Elevating Nursing Librarianship: Assessing Trends in Distance Librarian Services for Advanced Practice Nursing Programs.” He was also co-author on another paper that was presented entitled, “Health Sciences Librarians’ Perceptions of Interprofessional Education and Collaboration.”

Jessica was a co-presenter for the Immersion Session entitled, “Reach Out to Elevate Your Research Data Management Services.” She also moderated the paper presentations in one of the “Information Management” sessions.
