The Health Sciences Library is very excited to announce a 24/7 schedule starting the night of Wednesday, May 8, 2019. In response to student feedback and with full support from the Dean of Renaissance School of Medicine, the University Libraries has been working on several improvements to the Health Sciences Library including around-the-clock access, expanded study spaces, upgraded furniture with increased seating capacity, and enhanced technology through a partnership with Division of Information Technology.
While the exciting improvements to the Health Sciences Library is progressing, the immediate need for 24/7 access will launch starting the night of Wednesday, May 8. All students, faculty, and staff will have 24/7 access to the Library. Stony Brook ID cards will be needed for swipe card access to the Library during the overnight period after normal operational hours.
Stay tuned for additional updates on the Health Sciences Library’s new space design and technologies as we continue to provide students with innovative resources and more support in order to ensure that they not only succeed, but, excel.
Please let us know your comments and suggestions about the new hours https://library.stonybrook.edu/about-us/comments-suggestions/
