Flooding occurred in Health Sciences Library on Tuesday, November 27, due to a water pipe break. The computer labs and library classrooms will be closed Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2.
The water pipe break from the 4th floor this week has impacted one of the computer rooms (where power has been shut) and the hallway leading to the computer lab. In order to prevent mold growth in the carpeting, abatement work will be performed this weekend which will prevent access to the computer labs in the library. With assistance from the School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM), arrangements have been made to have the SHTM MILC Computer Room open during this time in order to reduce the inconvenience to students. It is anticipated that access to the main computer lab will be restored the morning of Monday, December 3.
