The SBU Libraries technology team visited Columbia University Libraries and met with the senior technology group for a day-long discussion on topics in emerging library technology and scholarly communication initiatives. The meeting was very productive with lots of idea sharing and engaging conversations. The SBU team learned a lot about the operations of Columbia’s Center for Digital Research & Scholarship and other digital centers, and the creative ways they have engaged their user community on the use of library technology.
