We aim to create a space where curiosity thrives and learning feels both inspiring and accessible. Whether you’re deep in solo study mode or bouncing ideas off classmates, the library is designed to support both quiet reflection and lively collaboration.
Leaving your stuff sprawled across tables, carrels, or chairs for hours while you’re elsewhere makes it tough for others to find a spot to work. Space is limited, and we want everyone to have a fair shot at using it. So, before you head out for an extended break, take a moment to clear your belongings. It’s a small act, but it speaks volumes—about respect, about community, and about being a good campus citizen.
Personal belongings and other items that are left unattended in the library for more than 30 minutes are subject to removal by library staff. If, after 30 minutes, the items are still unattended, the materials will be removed and stored at the service desk. The owner(s) may claim the items at the desk.
The Libraries are not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
