The Stony Brook University Libraries will release a newly redesigned website on April 23, 2026.
This update structurally and functionally transforms the Libraries’ digital presence, emphasizing clarity, usability and efficiency across devices.
Key enhancements include:
- A unified search experience spanning articles, books, journals and library resources
- Improved navigation with organized, scannable content and faster access to key library information
- Real-time occupancy indicators for library spaces and improved navigation for library hours
Following launch, the Libraries will continue refining and enhancing the experience, guided by user feedback and emerging needs.
